Markus Mayer

Markus Mayer was born in 1970 and grew up in an old castle in Germany, Düsseldorf in "House Linnep" and spent his childhood in a very deep nature.

Painting every night was his hobby from his earliest days and became his professional "job" in 1991. Since there he is working as a free artist (cover artworks) in the European gothic and heavy metal scene.

From his first days he was an artist from the dark side and over the years he made his way. Today he is creating sculptures, furniture, posters and already some few cover-artworks ( Nightwish, etc). He became one of the most popular dark-artists in Europe, always carrying the Satanic message. And , of course, he is still painting every night...
